Update: Google result links

Google now limits how many result links can be opened shortly after a search. We resolve the top 3 results; results 4–10 come back as google.com/goto links, which work about 30 seconds after the search. To get their real URLs, use the new /resolve endpoint.

Since 1.5 hours ago, Google limits how many /goto result links can be followed per results page right after it’s served.

We now resolve the top 3 organic links, which adds some latency for now; the rest come back as google.com/goto links. Those still work in a browser and resolve fine after ~30 s.

If you prefer max speed, pass resolveLinks: false and we skip resolving entirely.

This affects anyone resolving Google’s /goto links. We’re still actively looking into it.

Google just made a change impacting our ability to resolve all returned /goto links. You’ll see more results with unresolved /goto links, and latency is currently higher. We’re actively looking into it.
